Nike X Skepta Air Max Tailwind V

After the arrival of a recent teaser on Instagram, Nike and Skepta have come together to officially reveal their latest collaborative sneaker. With his fifth SK Air offering, London-born artist Skepta draws inspiration from the natural world to breath new life into a cult favourite Tailwind series. Your Luxury Streetwear Blog has put together the pictures of the eye-catching colour way.

The ‘Air Max Tailwind V’ colour theme features a shining printed pattern that mixes bright blue with black and a dash of dark purple inspired by a butterfly’s wing. Other features of the shoe recall elements of Skepta’s career and collaborations with Nike, including the chrome Swooshes in reference to the SK Shox, while a thermographic heel counter in tribute to Skepta’s “Ignorance Is Bliss” album cover.

The Nike Air Tailwind V x Skepta, and its corresponding tracksuit and bucket hat, releases today April 2nd 2021 in Asia Pacific, Europe and Greater China.
