Louis Vuitton & NBA joins forces again in a luxurious apparel collection. Virgil Abloh pays homage to the basketball style of 1990s, with details including the NBA patch.

The idea around the collection is three dress modes of a basketball player: travel, game, and press conference.

Travel

The travel set consists of casualwear such as a blouson and trouser quilted in Louis Vuitton's floral motif, logo-heavy hoodies and shorts, a technical parka, as well as performance trousers.

Game

Informal blousons, shirts, and shorts are adorned in graphic multi-color letters spelling out "Louis Vuitton" — each font referencing the typeface of an NBA team — while shorts are emblazoned with the House’s logo in a varsity-style font for additional sporty flair.

Press conference

Formalwear further interprets a '90s sensibility by way of a boxy black suit and overcoat. A graphic embellished leather bomber is a nod to the varsity classics worn by basketball vets and newcomers alike.
